Boulder or Weld: which court hears a Longmont divorce?
Longmont sits mostly in Boulder County, with part of the city's east side in Weld County. Where you live decides your courthouse.

The two courthouses
Divorce and custody cases are heard in district court. For the Boulder County side of Longmont, that is the Boulder County Justice Center, 1777 6th St., Boulder (20th Judicial District). For the Weld County side, it is the Weld County Courthouse, 901 9th Ave., Greeley (19th Judicial District).
Why it matters
Each judicial district has its own judges, local procedures and scheduling. Filing in the right county from the start avoids delay. Nearby towns split the same way: Erie straddles the Boulder–Weld line, Firestone and Frederick are in Weld County, and part of Windsor reaches into Larimer County.
What to do
Attorney Liken confirms the correct county and court before anything is filed. Most meetings with him happen by phone or video, so the courthouse location rarely means extra driving before a hearing. See every area the firm serves.
